Eden Hazard unveiled to 50,000 Real Madrid fans at Santiago Bernabeu

Eden Hazard has been officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player after being presented to the fans and media at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Belgian star agreed to join the Spanish giants in a deal that could rise to £130 million after seven years at Chelsea.

After arriving in Madrid early on Thursday, the 28-year-old underwent his medical at a local hospital before signing his five-year contract.

Having seen Luka Jovic join the club the previous day, Hazard's arrival drew thousands of fans to the stadium to welcome their new 'Galactico'.

Joined by his parents, former footballers Thierry and Careen, as well as brothers Thorgan and Kylian, Hazard described the move as a "dream come true."

The playmaker greeted the fans with "Hola a todos!" before apologising for his lack of fluency in Spanish, choosing to speak in French.

"It was my dream since I was small to play for Real Madrid, and now I am here," he said.
